Creating an Income With Commission Junction

Yesterday, I went over some basic information about creating a website that can lead to earning an online income. Now I am going to break down ways of earning an income by companies. Today I am going to concentrate on Commission Junction.

Commission Junction
is a overlying company that has numerous income earning companies inside. The first thing you need to do is set up a Free account with Commission Junction. After this is set-up, you can go and apply for companies that are associated with your subject. For instance, if you are creating a website about dieting, you could find companies that are associated with dieting inside Commission Junction. Once you find a company you can apply to them, some may take up to a week or so, if you are accepted then you will receive some graphics to place on your website.

Also within the companies that are offered is something called conversion ratings. This is the rating that they show for the amount of conversions a particular product has. The reason you want to look at this is because it could have an affect on your income earning potential. You want to find the best conversion rated companies you can to post on your website.

Once you have everything set up, you are ready to place the advertisement on your website and track your progress. You progress or performance can be tracked in the back office of Commission Junction. Simply log into your account and click the tab that says performance. Inside that link, it will give you performance ratings, they will tell you how many times the advertisement was shown and how many times it was clicked on. This is very important to watch. Actually placing your advertisement in different locations of your website may give you a better earning performance. This will require some testing on your part, personally I usually place the ad's in one spot for about a month and track the performance and then make adjustments.

As always, you income earning performance will greatly depend on the amount of traffic you get to your website. You can look over the different topics that I have already covered in my blog to see how to get some quality traffic to your site. Creating a Website to Earn Money Online

Earlier I had talked about creating a blog to begin earning an income online, another way to earn money online is to start your own personal website. What's the difference? It could be a lot or a little depending on what you want to do.

Creating your own website gives you the flexability to create what you want. A blog has a pre-defined template that limits you in the placement of items. So which is better? It's really your preference. Personally I like creating my own websites, so I can build them to my liking and add as much stuff as I want to!

To create a website first you will need a few items:

A domain name - This is your .com, .net, etc. name.

Hosting account - Your hosting account is where your website will be hosted. I have always purchased my hosting and domain names at Godaddy.com. They are widely known and over the years they have been flawless for me! If you do a search for hosting accounts, you will find that there are numerous places to purchase them on the internet. A word to the wise, no matter who you get your hosting from, purchase you domain name there also. This will save you some time!

A website editor - This is where you will create your website. Personally I like Front Page, it is simple to use. Another popular website editors are Dreamweaver, both of these programs would need to be purchased. You may also find free website editors on-line if you do a search for them. Although I have never personally used one, I have heard that there are some pretty decent free one's.

FTP Transfer program - This is used to transfer your created files from your website building program to your hosting. This is simple to use and you can find a free one on-line, I use a program called CuteFTP. You can download it for Free and it is simple to use.

Creativity - When you create your website, you want to be creative! Sure you can get a website template and simple edit the template to fit your style, but being different sticks out from the norm!

Creating a website to earn an income gives you multiple ways of generating money. This is the #1 reason I like creating my own sites, it just opens so many doors. Source of income that you can incorporate into your website are, Google Adsense, Click Bank, Commission Junction, Amazon stores, and many more options. Sure some of these you can use on your blog, but with your own website, you have the option of incorporating them where ever you want to! The choice is yours, either way you can begin to create an online income in a matter of days!

Earning an Income with Ebay

Earning an income with Ebay as a Home Based Business gives you the option of creating a part-time or full-time business from home! Ebay is an online auction site, which I'm sure almost everybody that is reading this has heard of, that you can place items up for sale and have people bid on them. The cool thing about Ebay is that you can sell almost anything you could imagine!

You could begin earning an income from Ebay by just selling stuff from around your house that you no longer have a need for. Then once you start earning a little bit of an income, you can begin to purchase items at a discounted rate and sell them for a profit. Unless you have a nice amount of start up cash, this is probably the best way to start out. IN our Ebay experience, we actually purchase items from stores and re-sell them for a profit. It's all about supply and demand, you should always do a search on Ebay for items that you are thinking about selling to make sure they actually sell.

If you are interested in creating wealth from a full time Ebay business then you would want to find a wholesale company that you can get goods for at a discounted price. There is a good amount of companies on the internet that you can begin a relationship with to acquire discounted items, some of them will even ship the items for you!

Some helpful hints to starting an Ebay business:

Research - Research your items that you are thinking of selling to ensure that you can make a profit from them. Ebay gives you a feature for checking on completed items. Simply type in the item that you are thinking about selling and then look along the left side. You will see a section that you can define your search with. Check the box that says completed listings and it will give you all the completed listing with the final sale price!

Quality Product - Make sure when you are putting items up for auction that the items actually are in good working order. Always list in the auction details as much as you can about the item. If the item you are selling doesn't work, state that it doesn't work. There are people that will purchase the item because they may know how to fix it!

Listing Details - Always be as accurate as possible in your auction listing. People want to know exactly what they are bidding on! You can always search around for the same product listings on Ebay and see how others have describe the product.

Shipping - When you ship out your item, be sure to package it with care! The last thing you want is to sell an item and ship it, then find out that it got smashed in the shipping. A great item to purchase is some bubble wrap, it is inexpensive and protects very well! Also when ensure that you ship out your items in a timely fashion, we always state that the item will ship in XXX amount of days.

Feedback - This is the #1 thing in Ebay! Feedback is basically a rating of how your product and service was. If you take care of the points that I mentioned above, this will ensure that you get proper feedback. Also once you receive feedback from the customer that purchased your product be sure to leave feedback back to them!

Creating an income with Ebay can flourish in a short time if you due a little research on products to sell and take care of your customers!

Joining Survey Companies to Earn an Income

Participating in surveys to earn an income from the comfort of your home can happen. Are you going to get rich doing it? Probably not, but you can earn some nice prizes and checks. There are numerous companies that will pay you for your thoughts. The trouble is that there is also numerous companies that will scam you out of your money also.

NEVER pay money to take surveys! If you have to pay money to take a survey, then most likely this is a scam.

Paid surveys companies all compensate in different ways some pay you, some you earn gift certificates, and yet others send you prizes. Compensation amounts also depend on the length of the surveys you take. This means that if you take a 5 minute survey you may earn a $1 on the other hand if you take a 30 minute survey you may earn $25. So pay close attention to that aspect if you decide to earn some income with surveys.

To find a safe survey company, you have to do your due dilligence! If something doesn't seem right about the program, then it probably isn't a safe company. One place I like to visit is called Survey Police. This site is a ranking site for survey companies. Throughout the site you will find comments about programs and their rankings according to the members. I would recommend visiting Survey Police and read up on survey companies that you would like to join. Once you found a few, join them and get ready to earn some money!

The way a survey company decides on participants, is from the profile you fill out for the company. When you join a survey company the first item to take care of is your profile. Your profile is usually created with your answers to different questions that they ask you. So when you fill out your profile, be honest and fill out the whole profile as completely as possible.

Once you're set up with the survey company you will begin to receive surveys in your e-mail. A suggestion for your e-mail is to set up a totally separate account that you will ONLY use for your surveys. This will ensure that you will not miss out on an possible income opportunities.

After you have completed some surveys and earned your compensation go into your back office and ensure your compensation is there. A lot of the survey companies will only pay the compensation when you request it. Personally I always request my payments as soon as possible. One thing I learned on the internet is to always get your money into your pockets as soon as possible.

In closing remember the key points I mentioned, NEVER pay to participate with a survey company, always complete your profile with honesty, and always get your compensation in your hands as soons as possible! Follow these simple rules and you can start earning an income with surveys.

Blogging for Income and Wealth

Yesterday I went over a brief summary of how to create a home based income with affiliates and affiliate marketing. Today I am going to go over how to create a income from your home with blogs.

Blogging has become one of the most popular crazes over the last few years. Why? Probably because they are simple to use and Free to create. Did you know you can create an income with your blog?

Creating some wealth with your blog is somewhat easy but takes initiative on your part. You'll have to have a topic that people on the internet have an interest for, a blog requires up to date information, you'll need to promote your blog, and finally a blog has to be enable to create the income for you.

I'm going go over a few points that will give you the opportunity to create an income with your blog. The very first thing you need to do is come up with a topic and research it, unless you already know the in's and out's of the topic! If you need to research your topic, there are couple of ways to do it. You should consider looking into the actual subject of your topic and the interest for it on the internet. One way to do that is to perform a simple google search and look at the information that is provided on the internet. Another way to is to research the keywords for your topic. To research the keywords for your topic, you can download a free program called good keywords. This program can tell you how many people search for words that relate to your topic (this information is actually vital to the strength of your blog). Finally, you can break down your topic to different variations of your topic. For example if you are using a topic such as "Investments", you could also research "Stock Investments" or "Long Term Investments" and so on.

Let's go back to the Keywords that I mentioned. A Keyword is actually the search term that people use to find information about a particular subject. The reason that you should research the keywords is so that you can incorporate them into your blog. Using the keywords in your blog will help your blog rise through the search engines. So I would suggest downloading the Free Good Keywords program that I mentioned.

Once you decide on a topic for your blog, you need to make sure you keep it up to date. This means having daily post. The more content that the search engines see on your blog, the better you will eventually rank. You maybe wondering how your going to come up with enough information to post on a daily basis, but it's really not that hard if you know what to do! There are plenty of Free content services on the internet, all you need to do is a little research. You can use the content that you find as long as you give credit where credit is due.

Here is a simple way to post multiple times to your blog on a daily basis. Simply find some content for your blog and post it. Then later in the day, go back and talk about the article that you posted. Doing this will give you two post a day and keep the search spiders coming back to your blog!

So now you have created a blog and want to earn an income with it. There are a couple of ways you can do this! The first way is to use Google Adsense, this is an advertising program that you can incorporate into your blog. The advertisements will automatically show ad's that pertain to the subject matter of your blog. The second way to possibly create an income on your blog is to use a service like Click Bank. If you pick a topic that has affiliates associated with the same topic, you can incorporate those into your blog. A simple way to do this is to post some information about the affiliate on your blog. If you have already used this product or service, you can comment on the benefits that the service or product provides. This will help possible customer's decide on purchasing the product you have for sale.

Finally, the last thing you would want to do is promote your blog. There are plenty of ways to promote your blog like, PPC (see last post), Networking, join forums, or even advertise in the newspapers. The more buzz you can create about your blog the more likely you are to earn an income from your blog. Just remember, if you try to promote in forums, DO NOT spam your site. Spamming your blog in a forum will automatically get you banned from the forum and create a negative buzz about your blog. Be smart about it and remember Rome wasn't built in a day. This will take a little bit of time, but if your take care of your blog it will take care of you in the long run! If you would like to get my more detailed information about earning an income with you blog, you can join my Free training newsletter at Profittower.
