Direction to Internet Income

When creating a website or blog to earn in income on the internet, often times we get caught up in giving ton's of information about the product or service we are promoting. Here are a few tips to think about when creating your new home based business.

  • Fill your website or blog with uplifting pictures and thoughts. This gives a sense of happiness and enjoyment when they are reading over your home based business proposal. Your introduction to your website or blog should always be a few short lines welcoming them to your site.
  • When you get to the point of introducing your home based business, always be yourself. Be serious about it, but in a non-pushy way. Think about it, do you like when a salesman, telemarketer, etc. tries to make you purchase something? Probably not, there is a fine line about being pushing in the sales industry. Just be yourself and explain things in an honest and friendly way! The more honest and up front you are, the more likely it is that a prospect will contact you for additional information.
  • When you are promoting a product or service to earn an income, you should always have a few testimonials from customer's. This let's the prospect know that you are promoting and excellent product or service.
  • This may sound funny, but it is actually true a good amount of the time! You need to direct a future prospect to the actual selling spot. I can't tell you how many websites I have been to that looked like something I would be interested in only to find out that I couldn't even find where to purchase it at. Simply type in something like " If this interest you, click here for more details" or if you are savvey enough, create a "Click Here" button. Through your words, lead them down the path!
  • Always use spell check and make sure all of your links are operating properly! This is a total negative if words are missspelllled (that's on purpose) or sentences don't make sense you know like the one's that just keep going on and on and never end with any point. The worst is when you actually have a potential sale for income and your purchase link doesn't work. Always check and re-check before promoting!
  • Finally, after you have created your introduction, sales pitch, testimonials, and closing, make sure always to add a P.S.. In the P.S., offer them something for joining today! Search back over my blog, I explain how to get free stuff to give away! This could be the sales breaker!
If you take the time to create your home based business website or blog well, you will be off on the right foot! In time with proper advertising you could start earning an income from the comfort of your home.

Article Submission to Expose Your Business and Boost Your Internet Income

Today I want to dive into a little more detail about Article Submissions. This is a must if you are looking to create an income on the internet! Article submissions are simple to accomplish and are very powerful. In a matter of 30 days, you could end up receiving several back links to your new home based business which will produce visitor's!

So what exactly does article submission involve? Submissions involve 3 particular sections; title, descriptive review, body, and the signature file. Submitting articles about your business venture is actually pretty simple, that is if you know your business! The whole article involves a brief description of about 200-500 words and it can be about anything that has to do with your internet business. For example let's say you have a business that centers around gardening. You could write several articles on several different sections of your business. You could produce an article on garden arrangements, flowers for the garden, vegetable gardens, best time to start your garden, winter preparation for your garden, etc..

The Title Section of Your Article - This section is as important as any. For your title, you want to be as descriptive as possible and use as many keywords about your subject as you can.

Descriptive Review - This is the part of the article that will show up in the article sites. People visit article sites and type in some keywords about a subject and then results will show based on those keywords. So in your review of your article, you want to be as descriptive as possible and again use as many keywords as you can about your article.

The Body - This is the main article. When people read your descriptive review, they will click on it and go to the whole article that you wrote. When you write your main article, you again want to be descriptive about a particular part of your business. Look at the examples I gave for gardening, pick different subjects that revolve around your business. When you write about your subject use as many keywords as you can and Bold them in the article. By bolding them, the search engines will tend to pick the articles up faster. Again your article doesn't have to be long, create one with 200 - 500 words. This may sound like a lot of typing, but if you know your business and it's something you believe in, it will come to be pretty easy!

The Signature File - Most article submission sites allow you to have a signature file at the end of your article. In this sig. file, you can give a brief description about your business and put a link to your website or blog!

The whole basis of writing articles is to give exposure to your home based business! When you submit articles, websites & blogs will pick them up and post them on their sites. If you get some websites or blogs that have high PR ratings, this will boost your own PR rating for your business! Also by having your articles picked up, you are creating back links to your business. When all this get into motion, it will help you to create an internet income faster.

One last thought, if you find that you are having trouble writing an article about your business, do a search on the internet and see what others are writing about it. Grab some idea's and then build off of them. If all else fails, you can always out source your articles to somebody. Maybe you have a friend that is great at descriptive writing? Make a deal with them, once you begin to earn an income from your business you can give them a cut for every 10 articles the create. You'll never know until you ask! Here is a secret for ya, this is what all the guru's do, do you honestly think they sit around and write 100's of articles a month? Maybe when then first started, but they don't anymore.

Affiliate marketing or MLM can be less stressful if you set your mind properly. Not to be blunt or anything, but you are not going to earn $100,000 in 30 days. Heck you may not even earn a $100 in 30 days. Affiliate marketing and MLM are industries that grow over time. These are actual business ventures that you need to care for and take care of! If you don't you're just throwing money down the drain. You have to go after it, you have to have at least a little bit of money set aside to use for advertising and at least a little bit of time to spend on your new business every single day. Remember keep your head up and pursue your dreams!

If you can get past those little road blocks, then you can earn an income with Affiliate marketing and Multi Level Marketing! It really depends on the money that you can invest in your business.

You shouldn't, it's YOUR business tell anybody you can. If I know one thing for sure, it's word of mouth. It's FREE and it works!

Your E-mail - You e-mail people right? Why not set up your sig file in your e-mail to have the site address to your new business. It's FREE, It's easy and people will want to see what it is all about!

Forums - If you don't visit forum's, then you need to! Forum's are a place on the net where people hang out and chat about whatever. Find a forum that is in your market and join it. heck join as many as you can and contribute a few times a week. When you join, you get an option to set up a signature file in your profile. Enter the web address to your new business and it will show up every time you post!

Article Submission - What does it cost? A little bit of your time and maybe a few skin cell loss off of your finger tips. There are a vast number of article places on the internet, visit profittower.info, that you can submit an article to about your business. Create articles about your business field and submit them to the article directories and boom, instant exposure! The key to these is that in your signature file you place a link back to your website!

$5 advertising - Spend about 10 minutes to create a flier about your new business and go to a place where you can produce copies of your flier. Place your flier at bus stops, peg boards in shopping centers, take a walk and do your body some good and put your flier on doors. Heck you can even go to your local pizza shop and see if they can put it on their pizza box!

$7 Advertising - Visit a site called Vistaprint.com at this site, you can get FREE business cards. The only cost to you is shipping, just get the lowest priced shipping and you can get them at super low cost! Leave your card anywhere you can think of! You go out to dinner, leave a card. Leave your card when you go shopping, talk to the person standing next to you in line and give them a card. Expose yourself, talk highly of yourself heck they don't know you; for all they know you could be some millionaire! Heck I go to stores and just leave a card or 10 in different parts of the store I'm in. Probably geeky, but hey I'm getting my name out there and it works!

$10-$20 advertising -Your city has a newspaper doesn't it? Check it out, newspaper advertising isn't as expensive as most people think. A simple 15-20 word ad can bring in numerous prospects to your new business

$20-$50 advertising - This amount of money will enter you into the PPC field. PPC stands for Pay Per Click. You can enter this field for less, but personally I don;t think it's worth it. For $20-$50 per month, you can get a decent amount of people to your new business. The cost is very reasonable and the results are usually better as the people that visit your site will be unique visitor's.

$50-$75 Advertising - When you're getting into this amount, you are serious about your business. At this amount of money, you should find a good autoresponder and purchase leads to send out information to. There are different types of leads that you can purchase, I will be getting into this in future post!

How to Use an Autoresponder to Generate an Income

If you are planning on creating an income on the internet, it will be necessary to have an autoresponder set up. Why is it necessary? You will need an autoresponder so you can keep in touch with your list that you are building.

The guru's that make a ton of money on the internet always say that the money is in the list and they are correct! Without a list or a good following, you probably will never make a huge amount of money on the internet.

So how exactly do you use an autoresponder to create an income? To have a properly run autoresponder, you will need a few things in place. First you will need to get an autoresponder and there is a nice selection of them to choose from. A few of the top of the line autoresponders are Get Response, Aweber, or Send Free. Make sure when picking an autorsponder, that they include an opt-out link at the bottom of your mailings. This is required! Another decision you are going to have to make is whether to use a Free autoresponder or a Paid one. Personally I would suggest to use a paid one, this doesn't mean that you have to start with a paid one, many of them allow you to upgrade at anytime.

Once you choose your autoresponder, you need to incorporate the sign-up form into your website, blog, etc.. This can usually be found in the back office under scripts, sign up form, request box, etc.. The next thing you will want to do is find something that you can give your new subscribers to entice them to join your newsletter or autoresponder. This can be anything from giving away an e-book to offering a free helpful tip. You just have to make sure it is worth something, if you wouldn't join to get it, do you think others will? You can do a search on the internet and find several things that you can give away for free.

After you have all of that taken care of, you will need to begin setting up your autoresponder letters. These will be a series of letters that will automatically be sent out to your subscribers. I read numerous point about sending letters and they all say that it takes at least 3-5 times of receiving a letter before you get a response. So typically I set up my autoresponders with around 15-20 letters.

When you go to set up your letters, you will need to create a subject line. The subject line, I feel, is the most important item for your newsletter. You want to create some kind of catchy phrase so it draws attention. After all, if it doesn't catch the eye of the subscriber, then most likely your letter will never get opened.

The body of your letter is where you are going to create your sales pitch to create an income. I usually set up my letters with a warm introduction, wishing them well, etc.. Next paragraph, I begin to mention some information about the product I am pushing. Final paragraph is always a Thanks for you time. My final input into my newsletter is a P.S. after my signature. The P.S. is always an extra special push to try and entice them to purchase. It could be as simple as save $5 if you purchase this before midnight tonight. My series of letters always starts out with the first 3 or 4 just making small talk and maybe a little mention about the product. The letters that follow those will be more in depth about the product. I feel this is a good approach because it tends to let the subscriber learn a little about yourself and also instills in them that you are not just pushing a product on them.

So we have gone over some details about creating an autoresponder for earning an income on the internet. Earlier in this post I had mentioned that I use 15-20 letters, the amount of letters you choose to use is totally up to you. When you start to create your letters, you will be asked for the number of days you would like your letters to be sent. I usually send mine out about every 3 or 4 days. This way you are basically hitting them with a letter twice a week. I usually try to time them up to be sent out on Mon. or Tues. then on Sat. or Sun.. This way they are contacted in the beginning of the week and then on the week-end.

If you set up your autoresponder with care and treat your subscribers nice, eventually you will see them responding to you and your offers. This in turn can lead to creating a nice income on the internet! Remember, never push the product down their throats it will only lead to your e-mails getting turned into junk mail!
